Engage hyperspeed...

After MANY days of fiddling with the speed of the drawing to shrink 9 hours of footage to just over 3 minutes I have the answer, 4000x speed! The speed is quite impressive as 20 minute long sketches are being condensed to 10 seconds and the pictures themselves are being 'drawn' just how I originally imagined my make-shift animation to look.

Day 1 of pencil torture

Filming the 'drawn' section of my music video is taking slightly longer than expected after a day of planning and 4 dv tapes later we are barely into the storyboard and my artist Jason is near dead and in dire need of new stationary...

With the help of a friendly artist...

My friend Jason has agreed to help me, by drawing a series of pictures which will later be sped up and layered on top of my footage, to hopefully add a new perspective to what was beginning to feel like just another generic music video.

I've decided to use this video for my analysis as I drew a lot of inspiration from the use of lighting, and the location is shockingly similar to the i used in my video, a full analysis will be uploaded soon
